Island Flex – Reminder – For Plan Year July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014

This message is for employees participating in the July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 Island Flex Benefits program.
As a reminder, the 2013 – 2014 State’s flexible spending account “Island Flex” program ends on June 30, 2014. Participants with money in the medical and/or dependent care accounts have until June 30, 2014 to incur eligible medical and/or dependent care expenses. Claims for reimbursements for eligible medical and/or dependent care expenses incurred between July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 must be submitted by September 30, 2014 (90 days after the plan year ends) to National Benefit Services.
To be reimbursed for eligible expenses, employees may complete the reimbursement claim form http://www.compfinplan.com/Forms/claim.form.7-07-09.pdf or log-in to their personal account at https://www.nationalbenefitservices.com to file a claim. Please be aware that any money left in the 2013 – 2014 flexible spending account after September 30, 2014 will be forfeited.

Faculty & staff parking permits
Faculty and staff parking permits will be available starting July 1, 2014, at Olopua 103. The request form can be accessed on Quill.
ADVISORY–water shutoff on June 22, 2014
Please be advised that water supply for the entire campus will be shut off on Sunday, June 22, from 6:00am to 2:00pm to allow for water main inspections. Restrooms will not be available for use during that time.
Hurricane preparedness workshop
