ATTN FACULTY – Gen Ed Redesign Conversation for KCC

Hello, faculty! As you may be aware there are system wide meetings about the General Education Redesign. Please plan to attend one of the System wide Town Hall meetings to learn about the redesign. They are scheduled for: December 3, 13, January 6 and 26. Please add a date to your calendar that fits your schedule.

After you have had a chance to learn about the General Education Redesign at those meetings, on January 28th from 11 AM – 12 PM, the Kapiʻolani CC Faculty Senate General Education Committee will be hosting a virtual campus General Education Redesign Conversation (Zoom: https://hawaii.zoom.us/j/5449185496). Please send any questions in advance to ensure we are prepared for the discussion, and allow us to structure the meeting for maximum efficiency.

Please read the General Education Redesign proposal, and pay attention to areas that will impact your work. Be prepared to discuss the implications and impacts the proposed redesign has on our students and the College.
