INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK at Kapi’olani Community College

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.

At Kapi’olani Community College we are celebrating our 17th year of IEW (and next March will be the 30th Anniversary of the International Festival).

We additionally hope to recruit and attract international students who may become future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

All faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the Kapi’olani Community College International Education Week!

ALFS pilot year 2: We hear you!

77 of you, staff and faculty, responded to the survey asking for your feedback on the ALFS (Admin. Leadership Feedback System) pilot, year 1. You can see the results here.

The ALFS Pilot Implementation Team has analyzed these results carefully, including considering the thoughtful and detailed comments many of you took the time to share (thank you!). We will be working with the Administration and all the AGOs on campus to implement some changes for year 2 of the pilot, in response to your concerns and your commendations.

We want to thank you so much for your feedback on the survey! You are helping shape our campus.

The ALFS Pilot Implementation Team:

note: Because of the way the survey tool “publishes,” some results are difficult to read. If you want to see those, just contact any of the ALFS Pilot Implementation Team members, who will be happy to forward to you a HTML version and a supplement.
