✨ STEM Expo is not just for STEM majors! Wednesday, October 19th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Please invite your students to our STEM Expo! The STEM Expo is happening next week Wednesday, October 19th from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Zoom. Organizations and programs will be sharing many amazing opportunities and future career paths that are open to a variety of majors. It’s casual: students can drop in and ask questions about careers, opportunities, and more!
Here are a few opportunities you can learn more about at the STEM Expo:
- Representatives from JABSOM, Castle Hospital Cope Health Scholars, and the Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence program will share opportunities in health care.
- Learn about scholarships for Native Hawaiian students from Kamehameha Schools.
- Interested in sustainability? Kupu, PIPES, Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance, and many others have volunteer and internship opportunities for students. We also have companies such as WAIHome on hand to talk about green careers in Hawaiʻi.
- Chaminade University has a $2,000 undergraduate research opportunity in the summer for Native Hawaiians in non-STEM fields as well as information for pre-health students.
