KC-Noncredit Registration Update for June 27 & 28, 2019

The KC-Noncredit Registration office in Kopiko 121 window service will be closed today and tomorrow for year-end closing.   Online registrations will remain open during this time.  We will resume normal office and window service on Monday, July 1, 2019. Appointment of Dean of Health Academic Programs Effective August 1, 2019

We are pleased to announce that pending approval by President Lassner and the Board of Regents, Kapi‘olani Community College will be welcoming a permanent Dean for the Health Academic Programs.

Lisa Radak will be joining the Executive Leadership Team, effective August 1. Ms. Radak comes to us from Baker College System Headquarters in Flint, Michigan, where she served as the Dean of the College of Health Sciences.  Please see the attached bio of Lisa Radak

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Aaron Koseki and Karen Boyer, both of whom stepped up and provided leadership and support to the health programs, among the most complex programmatic areas on this campus. 2nd Announcement: Call for Proposals for the Second KCC Open Educational Resource Creation Award!

Kapi‘olani Community College and Lama Library and Learning Resources are excited to announce a call for proposals for the Kapi’olani Community College Open Educational Resource Creation Award. Our OER goals are to reduce the cost of educational materials for students, make quality OER available throughout the College and the University of Hawai‘i System, increase student success, and contribute to the global OER movement.

This award is to support you in creating educational materials to convert your class to Textbook Cost: $0 and to make your work available for other instructors who are adopting, modifying, and creating materials for their students.
