2016 Ecology Club Fundraiser

Who Volunteered 775 Hours??

Mahalo nui loa to our faculty and community volunteers at The Study Hub this semester! Combined, they contributed over 775 hours to mentor and provide supplementary instruction to our students in all areas of writing, math, chemistry, and history. The following faculty contributed a total of 403 hours: Jacquelyn Chappel (Writing), Porscha dela Fuente (Writing), Beau Ewan (Writing), Lisa Kanae (Writing), Davin Kubota (Writing), Kelli Nakamura (History), Kathy Ogata (Chemistry), Michelle Shin (Writing), Justin Toyofuku (Math) and David Uedoi (Writing Faculty Volunteer Coordinator). The following three community volunteers contributed a total of 372 hours: Jill Abbott (Writing), Carl Wheeler (Math) , and Grace Williams (Math).

Discipline faculty are cordially invited to schedule an office hour in the Study Hub or contribute volunteer hours to promote the success of our students. Please contact Joy Oehlers (aichin@hawaii.edu) to let her know you want to sign up for a time.

Faculty at Kapi’olani Community College are creating quality no-cost, low-cost, and openly licensed learning resources to reduce costs for students and to share our educational resources with other faculty.
