Announcements at Fall Convocation – August 17

At every Convocation, there is a sea of paper with various announcements on the tables. In the interest of sustainability, I am asking that people submit their announcements to me by Monday, August 15. (The Fall Convocation is on August 17.)

The announcements will be shown as a powerpoint presentation on a loop during the coffee time, 8:30-9:00 a.m. Please email a pdf version to me, Joanne Whitaker at joannewh@hawaii.edu, and I will drop it into the powerpoint presentation without alteration. After the convocation, the announcements will be posted several times on News and Events.

This may not stop the paper announcements but I hope it will decrease over time.

Please spread the word to others. Thank you!

His leadership extends beyond the borders of Kapi‘olani Community College as well. He is a member of Hawai‘i Papa o Ke Ao and held an advisory role in the discussion of Senate Resolution 97.
