BOSA Charter Changes Hearing

Aloha all,

As we are approaching the end of the school year, BOSA has made some changes to our charter. Through this email we would like to invite everyone to our hearing and provide an input or feedback you all have towards the changes. We have scheduled the hearing to be on Friday, May 6 at, at 10:00 am via zoom. Attached below is our charter for the upcoming school year, feel free to review it before the hearing. FREE FOOD, SANITATION & PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS

Aloha Kapi’olani CC students,

The Board of Student Activities (BOSA) is pleased to announce that we will be giving out free care packages with sanitation, personal hygiene, and non-perishable food items! Come and pick up your own care package on Monday, December 6, from 10am – 2pm at ‘Iliahi 123 (the building where Subway is located).

Students coming on December 6 will be able to pick up a care package; but if you would like to pick up supplies during the week, we will have the remaining items available in the center throughout the week (until supplies run out). We would also like to thank the members of the Board of Student Publications and Student Congress for assisting on pick-up day.

Please go to the link below using your UH email (@hawaii.edu) to fill out an RSVP by Friday. To assist us in providing the right amount of supplies, choose up to 5 items that you would like to have in your care package. (Supplies are limited and not guaranteed.)

Friendsgiving relay race? BINGO! BOSA event!

Kapi’olani CC students! Come join the Board of Student Activities (BOSA) for our Friendsgiving (Friendship + Thanksgiving) Festival! Join us for a free bento, relay race, and the game of Bingo on the Great Lawn. There will be prizes and candy giveaways so make sure you save the date for MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 3:30PM- 5:00PM and we hope to see you on the Great Lawn! Welcome Social Flyer

Board of Student Activities (BOSA) Welcome Social!

We are the Board of Student Activities (BOSA), and we would like to send everyone a warm welcome to the semester! Our first event of the semester will be on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, from 3 PM – 5 PM. Come and join us on the Great Lawn for the Welcome Social! We will be playing socially distanced team relay games, dodgeball, and having ice cream on the side! Please RSVP for the social by September 10th (go.hawaii.edu/PHA), and we hope to see you there!
Make sure to bring water, wear sunscreen & get ready to meet new friends! Facial coverings need to be worn at all times, and hand sanitizer will be provided at the event. As per the UH COVID guidelines, please make sure to check in through LumiSight before coming onto campus, as well as having your vaccination card or a negative COVID test uploaded as well.

Board Of Student Activities Charter Hearing

The Board of Student Activities is pleased to announce potential changes to our charter. The Kapi’olani Community College Board of Student Activities Charter outlines the goals, guidelines, and rules that BOSA follows when making important decisions and making events. Please join us on March 29, 2021 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM to hear about the changes in detail over Zoom. Everyone is invited to give us feedback and hear updates from the board! The Board of Student Activities is holding a ONLINE PUB QUIZ + GAME NIGHT on Monday, March 22 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM! Do you know what the longest river in the world is? RSVP For Free Care Package!

Aloha Students,

On behalf of the Board of Student Activities (BOSA), Student Congress, and the Board of Student Publications (BOSP), we are pleased to announce our new SUPPLIES FOR POSITIVE VIBES (COVID-19 CARE PACKAGE) event.

The event will be on THURSDAY, MARCH 25 from 12PM – 3PM and SATURDAY, MARCH 27 from 12PM – 3PM on-campus at Kamokila Student Center and students will be able to come and create their own care package. We will be providing bags (you are also welcome to bring your own), however, we cannot assist with carrying and transporting your items.

Choose up to 5 items that are listed that you would personally want in your care package as fuel for finals and the best day to assemble/pickup your care package.

WALK-A-THON: Friday, February 26, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Great Lawn

Come and join the Board of Student Activities (BOSA) on campus for a fun, socially-distanced Walk-A-Thon! 

This event is dedicated to spreading knowledge about Cancer Awareness Month. We will have a competition for prizes for individuals with the most steps walked, fun games set up on the Great Lawn, info tables with several organizations, and lots of snacks. There will also be a station dedicated to making cards for essential workers during COVID as well as to support the kupuna community. Bring water, wear a facial covering, and get ready to walk! We hope to see you there!
