He has a comprehensive understanding of organization-specific compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, NERC, NIST-800 SERIES, PCI-DSS, CIS-CSC, HITRUST, HIPAA, and other information privacy and security requirements. Mr Hernandez has also conducted numerous information security audits and consultations for public, private and not-for-profit sector clients in major industries such as healthcare, utilities, financial, gaming/casinos, telecommunications, construction, etc. He has wide-ranging and in-depth information security experience. He is currently a Director of the ISACA Vancouver Chapter and is the security subject matter expert in a large healthcare organization in Canada.
