Engage NEW STUDENTS at KCC’s New Student Orientation!

Want to help new, first-year students to be a participant not a receptacle in your classroom? Want to help students understand the importance of a syllabus, deadlines, and reading? Want to help students be adaptable to your teaching style?

Yes? Then this activity is perfect for you and will look great on your dossier under Service to the Campus!

Looking for 50 faculty volunteers to either teach a 15-minute lesson in your style and subject area OR facilitate a 15-minute discussion on how students can become “college-ready.”

Where: New Student Orientation Part III for all Fall 2015 new first-year students

When: August 18, 19 and 20 between 10am – 12pm (two time slots (10am – 11am or 11am – 12pm)
