New Media Arts Interface Design and Animation Online Student Events on June 4th and June 12th, 2020

Come celebrate and view the demo reels and portfolios from the graduating animation and interface design students of the New Media Arts program at Kapi‘olani Community College. This year there will be two online NMA student events: one for graduating interface designers on June 4th, 2020, and one for animators on June 12th, 2020. Both events will be online and begin at 5 pm. Final Contract Renewal and Tenure and Promotion Panel Discussion of the Year with Department Chairs this Friday April 26th

Attention all faculty up for contract renewal, tenure, and/or promotion, please join us this Friday, April 26th 2019 from 1-3pm in Kopiko 202A for our last and final event of the year: we will have a panel discussion with Department Chairs from different disciplines who will be on hand, ready to share advice and answer questions regarding the contract renewal and tenure & promotion process. This meeting will be split into two parts: from 1-2pm the focus will be on contract renewals and from 2-3pm the focus will be on tenure & promotion. See you there!

Contract Renewal and Tenure/Promotion Formatting Workshop with Helen Torigoe and Joyce Tokuda this Friday April 4/12 from 1-3pm in Lama 118

Attention all faculty up for contract renewal, tenure, and/or promotion, please join us this Friday, April 12th 2019 from 1-3pm in Lama 118 (please note the new location) for our next C4ward workshop on document formatting with Helen Torigoe and Joyce Tokuda. Helen and Joyce will be conducting a hands-on workshop on how to embrace best practices for formatting your dossiers, such as how to use MS Word and Google Docs styles, auto-generate table of contents, page numbers, and more. They will be on hand to answer questions, help troubleshoot technical problems, and will be sharing examples, templates, and other helpful resources. This year we are splitting workshops from 1-1:45pm for contract renewal and 2-2:45pm for tenure and promotion. All are welcome to join us for one or both sessions. Please note the change of location: from Kopiko 202A (previously advertised) to Lama Library in Room 118. Also, be sure to mark your calendars for all upcoming spring 2019 presentations (see below for details).
