The current drive to remove eWaste from the campus is proceeding as planned. Thank you for your overwhelming participation and cooperation.
Kapiolani Community College will be participating in the University of Hawaii eWaste Pick-Up Program. Deadline for submissions is Thursday October 2, 2014
Please remember that all equipment must be confined to a secured location (away from public and student access). If your computers hard drive (or any storage device) contains confidential information, a Support Ticket must be submitted via the CELTT website https://resolve.
Any environmentally unfriendly items, such as toner cartridges, cannot be disposed of through eWaste. Batteries are allowed, but only if they are integral to the the device being eWasted. Cracked CRT computer monitors and cracked CRT TVs are not acceptable. This program is for UH equipment only, no personal or public eWaste.
Please mark all equipment in the secured location “For eWaste”.

CELTT Closure – Notice
In line with “Staff Professional Development Day” and “HSI Gone WILD: Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence”, CELTT will be closed this Friday March 7th, 2014.
Our “Resolve” system will still be open for submissions and updates, however staff will not be available for service calls or walk-ins for the entire day.
ACCJC Evaluation Report
To the Kapi`olani CC `Ohana:
On February 8, 2014, Chancellor Richards received Kapi`olani Community College’s Evaluation Report from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It is available to you at http://www.kcc.hawaii.edu/page/accreditation. Also available is the Evaluation Team Report from December 2, 2013, which includes the University of Hawaii Community Colleges System Report. The college will continue to address the commission’s recommendations to ensure “institutional integrity, effectiveness, and educational quality.”
