The Island Savings/State of Hawaii Deferred Compensation Plan is an important State-sponsored benefit that allows you to save for retirement on a pre-tax basis to accumulate funds to supplement your State of Hawaii Employees Retirement System (ERS) and Social Security benefits. The plan’s provider, Prudential, will be conducting a webinar providing a general overview of the plan’s benefits and features. You can learn how to enroll in the plan, or for existing participants, gain a better understanding of the various investment options available in the plan and how to save more for retirement.

Hawai‘i State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) invites you to a free, virtual presentation called Project Grad 65 – Welcome to Medicare, a co-presentation by Hawai‘i SHIP and the Social Security Administration – Honolulu Office. This presentation is designed for individuals turning 65 and “graduating” into Medicare to prepare them for their Initial Enrollment Period.
