From April 20 to 24 join us in a week-long celebration of our precious Earth.
The Service & Sustainability Learning Program’s student Sustainability Promotion Team, along with the Faculty Senate Ad-hoc Sustainability Committee, invite you to participate in a number of events throughout the week, beginning with our campus Earth Day event on Monday, April 20 from 10AM to 4PM. (See the Event’s page for a more detailed description of the Earth Day program.)
Highlights of the week include:
– A CFL lightbulb exchange by Hawaii Energy — bring in your incandescent lightbulbs and receive a free CFL one which you can use to increase energy efficiency in your home.
– Screening of Cowspiracy in the Library sponsored by the Liscious Dishes and the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii (Monday, 12noon)
– Soul Motion for your inner peace on Friday from 11AM to 12noon in the KCC Chapel, led by Counselor Mimi Yen.
