Dr. Sheryl Shook, instructor for the very popular KCC physiology class, “The Science of Sleep”, is presenting the workshop “Keys to Better Brain Health” on Tuesday, 11/1, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on campus.

Keys to Better Brain Health
With a few key choices, you can improve your brain and nervous system health, as well as take steps toward preventing neurologic disease. In this workshop you will learn ways to boost your brain wellness and reduce the possibility of developing diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. You will learn ways to address dangerous nutritional imbalances, inflammation and oxidation, reduce your exposure to environmental toxins, and improve your digestive system health.
