🎺 🥁 This year’s Hawaiʻi Foodbank Drive champions – HOST/CULN!

Kapiʻolani CC raised $5,655 for the Hawaiʻi Foodbank Drive! That’s 27% more than last year’s $4,451. That’s more than 14,000 individual meals or almost 18,000 lbs of food.  Mahalo to all.

The top 3 departments are:

    1. HOST/CULN donated $850. [We think they just wanted to beat Admin].
    2. Admin donated $735. [They probably donated early to motivate everyone to beat them].
    3. Library donated $700. [We tried our best not to win so as not to be accused of insider trading].

Mahalo to Chancellor Pagotto for providing a pizza party for HOST/CULN when social distancing ends.

Many thanks to the department secretaries for promoting and helping Lama Library organize this year’s Drive. Thank you for the nice comments on Erica’s flyers and Joyce’s leaderboard.

Hawaiʻi Foodbank will continue to add your donations to the UH Coalition until May 14 so keep donating and adding UH Kapi’olani Community College in the Additional Comments section. Your donations go a long way in supporting our community.
