Please welcome Osaka International University (OIU) students from Osaka, Japan to Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC) campus.

OIU students will visit KCC for the Intensive Hawaiian Food Culture Program from Thursday, August 29, 2019 to Saturday, August 31, 2019. 

11 students and 2 faculty members will participate in this program coordinated by Office of Continuing Education and Training.

This program is designed for the OIU students to understand food culture in Hawai‘i through various activities. The students will learn about the traditional and modern food culture in Hawai‘i, farm products distribution, current issue on nutrition, and Hawaiian cuisine.
