Kapi’olani Community College and Chaminade University will host an 8-week virtual Undergraduate Summer Research Institute this summer. We are looking for non-STEM KapCC faculty to mentor students on a research project of your choosing. Potential projects can take the shape of a literature analysis, marketing research, or an analysis of social behaviors, historical events, or other phenomena — the kinds of assignments and projects you may already doing with your students.
If you are interested, please fill out the Faculty Interest Form by Friday, May 1. The form is just to indicate interest and should take no more than 15-30 min to complete. You do not need to have a fully fleshed-out project, research agenda, or budget and a description of the areas that you want to focus on is enough. If you anticipate needing any kind of equipment to teach, please indicate that as well.
