HMSA is offering Online Health Education Workshops on various topics. Workshops are Webex classes that teach about nutrition, stress management, and other aspects of health and well-being.
Note: Participation is voluntary and open to all KapCC employees (including student employees), regardless of health plan affiliation.

Preventive Care: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. In this workshop, learn the benefits of seeing your doctor for screenings. Plus, learn which screenings may be right for you and get inspired to improve your overall health.

808 Trail-Ready: Hiking is a great way to get exercise, destress, and enjoy Hawaii’s natural beauty. But it can also be dangerous if you don’t take proper precautions. Before you lace up to hit the trails, attend this HMSA workshop to get helpful tips such as What to wear, What gear to pack, Which local trails you can explore safely, and more! You’ll also learn about how to avoid common mistakes that could lead to rescue situations.

Stress Bucket: Each of us has a certain amount of stress that we can manage before our stress bucket overflows. Knowing how to drain stress is important to prevent high blood pressure, anxiety, and other conditions. Join us to learn practical, enjoyable ways to remove some stress from your bucket.
