Camp is an engaging, free, Zoom-based professional development and personal growth event hosted by Kapi‘olani Community College. There is a diverse range of session topics that include instructional, cultural, health and wellness topics, and many more.

🏖 NEW This Year: Summer Camp Friday Field Day

This year, we have an exciting in-person event to end the week: Friday Field Day at Kaimana Beach Park! Regardless of whether you’re registered for one or more of the sessions on the program, you’re welcome and encouraged to bring some snacks, beach chairs, and friends to join us to talk story, play games, paint aloha rocks, and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air!

🏖 This year, we have an exciting in-person event to end the week: Friday Field Day at Kaimana Beach Park!

Don’t miss 3 of our awesome students, Shawna Takaki, Tim Lum, and Jenny Brown of Student Congress, at 12:20 on Thursday! Here’s the description of their session, Talk Story with Students: Addressing Student Workload: Student Congress will start with an introduction of themselves and their goals for the session. Then they will share survey data to pinpoint student workload needs. This will be elaborated on with personal experiences relating to the issues with student workload and suggesting methods that could be revised to better serve students. A discussion will commence with the audience on related experiences. To conclude the session, there will be an open time for Q&As from the audience.
