UH Community Colleges 2021-2022 OER Incentive Program

The UHCC OER leads from our seven colleges have put together a systemwide professional development program and awards for modification and creation projects. Professional development opportunities include textbook review workshops and more in-depth UHCC OER 101 workshops and courses. There is a call for proposals for those interested in modifying an OER resource or creating ancillaries for a TXT0 course. We are also inviting proposals to create an OER course or textbook to convert a class to TXT0.

Please read this announcement for details and sign up for these great opportunities! (All compensation is based on eligibility for overload.) If you have any questions, you can email Sunny at sunyeen@hawaii.edu.

Best wishes for an OERsome year!

Textbooks on Reserve @ Lama Library

Textbooks for most courses are now available for 2-hour (renewable and may be taken out of the Library) or 7-day loan at the Lama Library. Inquire at the Circulation Desk, or let us know if you have any questions.

Instructors: if you have a spare copy of your textbook, please consider putting it on Reserves. Students: If your book or your financial aid hasn’t arrived yet or you just want to check out what the course is about, please use the textbooks on Reserves@Lama Library.

Funds for this pilot project were provided by a Title III grant.
