Join Us @10am TODAY: Creating Community in Synchronous Class Sessions

Creating Community in Synchronous Class Sessions
Friday, Nov 6: 10:00-11:00am
Presented by Nadine Wolff

About this webinar: Teaching via Zoom creates many challenges, two of which are keeping your class engaged and creating community like you might in a F2F class. Many of us have experienced staring at those tiny black squares with the sound of crickets in the Zoom room. This webinar will highlight some ways you may build community to promote engagement and a sense of belonging in an online class with synchronous zoom sessions. In other words, how to make your Zoom room a fun and exciting space to learn in.

About Nadine: Nadine has been teaching mathematics F2F and online for twenty years and joined the KapCC community about four years ago. When she is not brainstorming zoom activities or held back by a pandemic, she likes to spend her time outdoors, in the ocean, and traveling.
